Day 5

It was a pretty uneventful day today since we were traveling to Anhui today.  Got up this morning at 5 again and tried to go back to sleep but just couldn't.  We went down stairs for breakfast at 8 and just sat around and talked for a while.  Headed back upstairs to the rooms to pack around 11:00 or so.  Zach got a ride from our guide's daughter and took a tour of Beijing University for a visit.  Bags were all packed and checked to make sure we stayed under the 40 pound maximum for the intra-country flight.  We left the hotel around 1:30 p.m. and arrived at the Beijing airport around 3:00 p.m.  Our flight was delayed a little but we flew out around 4:30 and got into Anhui at about 6:05.  Met our guide Jane.  Very nice lady and believe it or not she was the interpreter for the movie Somewhere Between.  For those of you that haven't heard of it, it is the movie where the three adopted Chinese girls take you through their journey of the adoption.  We will meet Jane down in the lobby tomorrow morning at 8:30 so that when CCAA opens at 9:30 we will be there and ready to complete the paperwork.  This is also the day that we get to meet our daughter for the very first time.  We are so excited to be adding another daughter to our family.  Sydnee is super excited and can't wait for morning to get here.  The boys, well they are being boys out sight seeing and lifting weights down in the gym of the hotel.  I will probably post pictures tomorrow of the "gotcha day".  Well until we meet again, happy trails to you!
