China Itinerary

5/7 - We begin the long airline trip through Washington DC to Beijing.  We leave at 6am on 5/7 and arrive in Beijing at 2:20pm on 5/8. We meet up with two other families adopting through our agency.

5/8 through 5/12 - We adjust to China time. We will visit the Great Wall, Olympic Stadium, Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, and Temple of Heaven.

5/12 - We fly to Anhui Province, Ben Qiu's home.

5/13 - We meet Ben Qiu!  We will hear her voice, see her, and hold her hand for the very first time.  So excited!!!!!  We become a family of 6:).

5/13 through 5/16 - Chinese adoption  paperwork, visit to Ben Qiu's orphanage, and experiencing Ben Qiu's China home.

5/17 - We fly to Guangzhou to finish the last part of the adoption journey.

5/17 through 5/23 - Medical Exam, U.S. Consulate appointment on 5/22, pick up Ben Qiu's visa.

5/23 - Fly to Hong Kong.

5/24 - Hong Kong Disneyland:).

5/25 - We fly home!  When we step foot on american soil in Chicago at about 5:05pm, Ben Qiu becomes an AMERICAN:).
