Day one - Arrival in Beijing.
Well after being up for about 33 hours straight; we finally made it into Beijing this afternoon at 2:00 pm. It was a good flight with little to no issues. Other than we got to Dulles and originally got our seats only two of the five seats were together. I was just happy that we made it on the flight as they were overbooked. Erika talked to one of the guys at the ticket counter and he told her to just ask someone to switch seats with us. Another one of his co-workers actually overheard the entire conversation and grabbed the tickets and adjusted them for us. Sydnee, Erika and I got to sit together; while the boys had to sit a row in front of us on the opposite side of the plane and not together I might add. They both took it like champions. In fact Alex came over and grabbed the entire bag of twizzlers and shared the entire bag with a couple of gentlemen from China and a stewardess who had never had them before. Well tomorrow is a new day and a step closer to meeting BenQiu for the first time. We will be going to see the Great Wall. Hopefully this VPN will be a little more cooperative than it was tonight so that I can get some pictures posted and get this thing updated a little earlier. For those of you that don't know, China controls what you can and can't do on the internet (i.e. no access to facebook and actually any blogs to include this one); so if you want to keep everyone updated in what is going on, you have to purchase a VPN. "And well now you know the rest of the story....... Good Day!"
